Ingredients:
1 Tbsp + 2 tsp Shea Butter
1 Tbsp Jojoba Oil
1 Tbsp Sweet Almond Oil
2 tsp Castor Oil
1 tsp Beeswax
1 tsp Emulsifying Wax
Essential Oils
3 drops Frankincense – skin renewal, calming
3 drops Lavender – soothing, anti-inflammatory, I use Blue Tansy
2 drops Myrrh – healing, deeply nourishing
Melt the base:
In a double boiler (or heat-safe bowl over a pot of simmering water), gently melt the shea butter, jojoba oil, sweet almond oil, castor oil, beeswax, and emulsifying wax until fully combined and smooth.
Cool slightly:
Remove from heat and allow the mixture to cool slightly (but not solidify)—just until it’s warm to the touch.
Add essential oils:
Stir in the essential oils (Frankincense, Lavender, Myrrh).
Pour and set:
Pour the mixture into a clean 2 oz jar or tin. Let it cool uncovered at room temperature until solid.
Store properly:
Once fully set, cover with lid and store in a cool, dry place. Use within 3–6 months for best freshness.
